According to our Brokerage Manager, Jonathan Soh, and the Bay Area Real Estate Information Services (BAREIS), sales volume and the average sales price of single-family homes in the second quarter of 2015 have risen in comparison to the first quarter.

Regardless of low inventories throughout, the popular second home markets such as Healdsburg and Sonoma thrived. Homes listed for over $1,000,000 especially experienced significant increases, with Healdsburg coming in with an 86% sales volume increase and Sonoma a 44% increase, in comparison to the Q2 2014 Wine Country Market Update.

There was a total of $342,000,000 in combined sales volume this quarter across all wine country markets. Other highlights include CAPURRO / LITTLE’s Freestone Flat Road listing’s inclusion in the “Significant Sales” section of the wine country market update. The average sales price of homes in Petaluma in comparison to 2014 rose 17% overall, which is great news for our Petaluma Sellers.
